Global health research case studies? In fact, the essay means to describe ten long-term research partnerships between Canadian research institutions and their likes in the south.These partnerships had in common a multidisciplinary approach and a methodology of participatory action research. I wonder what I am supposed to learn from reading the article. The most interesting paragraph, or at least the most reassuring for us as global health researchers, was the observation that “”Taking action on modifiable determinants that affect health and health equity, and converting new knowledge into improved policies and programs are fundamental components of global health research.”
